Here are just a couple words that are used in the play by Shakespeare. Academe, birthplace, elbow, gossip, label, majestic, unreal, lustrous, rant, and zany. Those are just some of the words that are used there is over 1700 words in the Shakespeare play. If I hade to name them all It would probably take for ever. In the play there are words that I listed above. "It's Greek to me" is a quote from Shakespeare and there are a lot more quotes but finding them is the hard part. I think the only way you can find them is by actually having the play right in front of you, because the internet is new not old. And that is some words about Shakespeare.

How can we read Shakespeare & understand him?
Shakespeare uses a lot of words that we don’t use today. They talk different and than they do now a days. He also uses a lot of similes and other figurative language. To understand him you have to really think about what is written and try to make inferences. You might have to look some of the words up to understand them. He also made a lot of the words that we use today. You can guess the meaning of the words by using the context to find the meaning. You should read through it a few times to make sure you understand it.
Words Contributed by Shakaspeare
William Shakespeare has contributed more then 1700 words to the English language all the way from academe to zany. He created most of these words that are now the most common words that are used today, by adding two words together, that no one would think of putting together, or by changing a noun to a verb or a verb to an adjective. He also was able to make up his own words. Shakespeare also made up many of the common phrases we use to day. With these words he used them in his plays like Love's Labours Lost and King Henry VI.

"Will-Shake" influences other writers
Shakespeare influenced other writers in many ways. For example, he invented over 1700 words that are used in the English language today by changing nouns into verbs, changing verbs into adjectives, connecting words never before used together, adding prefixes and suffixes, and devising words wholly original. If you start saying; "It's Greek to me", you are quoting Shakespeare; if you claim to be more sinned against than sinning, you are quoting Shakespeare; if you recall your salad days, you are quoting Shakespeare; if you act more in sorrow than in anger, if your wish is father to the thought, if your lost property has vanished into thin air, you are quoting Shakespeare; if you have ever refused to budge an inch or suffered from green-eyed jealousy, if you have played fast and loose, if you have been tongue-tied, a tower of strength, hoodwinked or in a pickle… you are speakin’ Shakespeare! Have you ever heard any other authors use these expressions, bet you have? That is because they have all been influenced by Will.
